Name: Kai Ikkari. Sex: Female. Age: 19. Race: Japanese. Height: 5'6". Weight: 125. Hair: Black. Eyes: Grey.
Phenotype: Homo sapien.
Genotype: Project Yurei reject but NOT failure; all sorts of fucked up. | ⌈ _ FIRE _ AND _ BRIMSTONE _ ⌋ |
⌈ Strengths ⌋ Has the ability to control her hair and use it as a weapon. The strands are stronger than steel and the tips of each are "vampiric" in nature and able to drain energy from living beings. Enhanced strength, agility, and endurance, but not by much. She gets stronger the angrier she gets; when she's angry, she can't feel pain.
⌈ Weaknesses ⌋ Physically mostly "only human." Although she gets physically stronger, she can't control her hair at ALL when she loses her temper. And she loses her temper a lot. She's not exactly the most reasonable or level-headed person in the world (read: absolutely batshit crazy). And even though she can't feel pain when she's angry, she'll feel it when she calms back down.
⌈ Other ⌋ Devoted to Ren-sama. Has a death and/or capture warrant on her head by Project Yurei and mostly everyone else. She's pissed a LOT of people off. But they pissed HER off first. Or tried to hurt her Ren-sama. ♥ They're mostly dead, now. Or living in pieces. | ⌈ _ AND _ ALL _ THE _ FURIES _ ⌋ |
⌈ One ⌋ Ikari is an incomplete monster. She died shortly after the Kai twins were born, and unknown to her parents, her body was shipped off by the hospital to Project Yurei. Once there, she was reanimated, forcefully imbued with the supernatural powers she carries now, and scheduled to be the next military breakthrough: a soldier whose strength increases with rage. And as far as Project Yurei got, they were successful.
⌈ Two ⌋ But somehow, in the process of all that, she lost her mind. Maybe it was the years of captivity that drove it out of her. The hours of experimentation. The strange injections and radiations and surgeries. Or maybe she just didn't have one to begin with. Either way, by the time she was 15 and the project was about 75% complete, the scientists realized Ikari would never bend to either plea nor torture and decided the experiment had to be scrapped. And the easiest way? Kill her off.
⌈ Three ⌋ The hilarious thing is (Ikari laughs about it a lot) is that the fact that she survived and escaped is somewhat of a total coincidence. The day that they had planned to give her the lethal injection that would kill her was the day that the little girl had decided was the time to test out her powers and have a little fun. Most of the staff was already off the lab, seeing as the project was finished after that day; it was an easy task to break out and kill everyone for fun! And cause lots and lots of screaming. ♥
⌈ Four ⌋ Of course, 15 years spent in a tube in Project Yurei's laboratories definitely didn't prepare Ikari for the "real" world. The city she found outside the labs was huge and confusing; everywhere she turned, someone was after her or attacking her or trying to lure her into alleyways. Eventually, she gave up on trying to tell them all apart and went around killing everyone that crossed her path, because that was simpler. And more fun! And when the people she killed had friends and family and they came running after her too, that was even better!
⌈ Five ⌋ But Ikari was fated, of course, to lose her first battle with the world. With no idea where to turn for help or shelter or what to even do without orders, she drifted around, barely getting by on the things she scavenged off dead people, and eventually ended up nearly dying of starvation and pure exposure on the streets. Feverish and hallucinating, she blindly crawled into someone's garden, curling up in the flowers in a delirious ball; she had a dream about a man with green hair, an angel sent from heaven to guide her through life.
⌈ Six ⌋ Except when she woke up, he was real. He said his name was Fujita Ren, and from that moment, he was Ren-sama (the ONLY Ren-sama, my life for you) to her then and forever. And so, her creepy stalker obsession was born. After recovering, she became Ren's fanatically devoted servant and overly protective bodyguard, refusing to leave him even if he commanded her to and constantly watching him from a distance until he resigned himself to her company. From watching him, she learned how to live and survive in the world; in him she found a superior for herself well-matched in tastes.
⌈ Seven ⌋ Now, she's the psychotic companion of her Ren-sama, acting as his secretary, bodyguard, maid, servant, assassin, everything and anything (her life for him). She still randomly flips out as she always did, but it's mostly in her overprotectiveness over Ren-sama now; he has problems dealing with her, but considers her a useful (forced) ally, if not exactly friend. He's the only one she cares about, although she has no concept of love whatsoever; hers is the religious devotion of a crusader. And as for everyone else that's NOT Ren-sama?
⌈ Eight ⌋ ...what everyone else? ♥
